Cotton Linen Gingham Stripe Shirt by Sarahwear

The Maker: I am so honored to call Nobu, the designer of Sarahwear, Friend.  His ease and happiness and excitement for his work is contagious.

The Work: 

This short-sleeved, pullover shirt features a cotton-linen gingham check and stripe pattern with a textured feel reminiscent of seersucker, achieved through a special dyeing process. It has a small, flat collar that lies flat against the body, ethnic-inspired loop buttons, and slits on both sides of the cuffs and hem. A box pleat at the back creates a soft, three-dimensional shape and a comfortable, relaxed fit.

The fabric has a soft texture, a moderate thickness, and a crisp feel, and after washing, it achieves a hand-dyed look.
