Cotton Linen Herringbone Skirt by Sarahwear

The Maker: I am so honored to call Nobu, the designer of Sarahwear, Friend.  His ease and happiness and excitement for his work is contagious.

The Work: 

This long, semi-flared skirt features a beautiful drape and a restrained volume. The waist is fully elasticized with belt loops, and a thin gingham check ribbon is included as an accent. There are approximately 10cm slits on both sides of the hem.

The cotton/linen herringbone fabric has a moderate thickness, offering both durability and suppleness. Its distinctive features include the characteristic sheen of a twill weave and a striped pattern. The cotton-linen blend and special processing give it a worn-in, vintage-like surface.
