Tension Bar Bracelet by Bryan Hansen Metals

The Maker:  Bryan Hansen grew up in Minnesota, studied at the Maine College of Art and now calls both places home.  I have been wearing his jewelry for years and years and am so excited to be able to share it with you!

The Work:

"I designed this bracelet wanting to make a full metal piece with as simple a mechanism as possible. The shape of the arch and the length of its “arms” allows enough tension to hold the bar in place, making a delightful click when engaged. The bar can be coaxed out of place by gently pulling an arm of the arch and yanking out the bar."
