GOOD JOB Mug by Eric Pardue

The Maker: Eric Pardue has been a long time favorite of mine.  His use of vintage images, particularly those of children hold a real nostalgia for the viewer, m also his military themes juxtaposed with florals are mind blowing.  The narratives are endless.

The Work: Earthenware pots decaled, drawn on and slip painted.  A wonder to have around, seriously. 

YOU ARE DOING A GOOD JOB.

The response from those who hear these words (a mantra I try to greet myself with) have wowed me this year.  We need to hear them right now.  

Eric told me that with each mug he pulled from the kiln he felt cheered on.  With each mug.  Words are powerful friends.  And who better to create these mugs than Eric, carrying the full intention.  They are as always delightfully decaled with a garden explosion.  

With full intention for these to be given to self or others with full loving eye contact.

You are loved, you are doing a good job.
